Our partner in the environmental consulting industry is looking to add an experienced Sr. Environmental Project Manager to their team to help support project leadership.
Salary: $65000$75000
JobType: FullTime Permanent
The Senior Environmental Project Manager will support projects for subsurface investigations and remediation as well as support environmental site assessments. The successful candidate should possess a diverse investigation and remediation background significant due diligence knowledge and experience consulting/executing projects. - Complete Phase I ESA Peer Reviews
- Management Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
- Implement technical requirements by directing and supervising field staff to sample test and collect data as well as document site activities.
- Schedule projects and allocate work to field staff.
- Manage program sites for IEPA LUST and SRP.
- Serve as a technical lead on all projects.
- Work with senior staff to scope cost plan and execute due diligence and associated assessments multimedia site and remedial investigations and all other remediation projects (may include hydrogeologic assessments chemical and hydrogeological data evaluation data visualization regulatory agency interactions and reporting).
- Evaluate complex laboratory and field data and assemble written reports.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards on all projects.
- Develop written proposals to clients for both small and large projects and complete quality review of proposals written by others.
- Meet client budget and schedule needs.
- Follow and promote safety rules guidelines and standards on all projects. Participate in pretask planning and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Attend on and offsite client meetings.
- Bachelors Degree in environmental science geology engineering or similar field
- 4 years relevant environmental project manager experience
- OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to be organized selfmotivated dependable personable and able to multitask and work effectively as a team player
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Project Management and leadership skills
- Ability to travel up to 13 days depending on project requirements.
