Job Description

AS OCU continues on a journey of substantial growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to come and join us based in Slough.

The Site Supervisor role plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects ensuring they are completed safely on time and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee daytoday operations at the construction site ensuring adherence to plans specifications and safety standards.

Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of the project.

Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.

Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Keep accurate records of work progress materials used and any issues encountered. Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Identify and address any issues or conflicts that arise during construction finding solutions to keep the project on track.

Conduct regular inspections of the site to ensure compliance with building codes regulations and project specifications.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of site workers providing guidance and support as needed.

Monitor project expenses and ensure resources are used efficiently to stay within budget.

Maintain positive relationships with clients addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.


    Skills & Experience:

    Previous experience in construction preferably in a supervisory role.

    Understanding of construction methods materials and techniques.

    Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with team members contractors and clients.

    Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills

    Ability to lead and motivate a team while also working collaboratively with others.
