Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a Site Operations Manager to join our team at our cuttingedge processing facility. This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the General Manager with responsibility for the daytoday management of the facility. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring health safety and environmental compliance maximising operational performance and efficiency and fostering a culture of continual improvement.
In addition to operational oversight the Site Operations Manager will provide proactive leadership and be responsible for the management and development of an experienced operational team.
Key Responsibilities:- Health Safety and Environmental Leadership: Lead and inspire a culture of excellence in health and safety environmental compliance and quality standards.
- Team Management: Manage lead and develop the sites operational team to achieve agreed throughput and yield KPIs.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure all site facilities and process equipment are maintained for optimal safety and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders to deliver excellent service levels.
- Strategic Contribution: Contribute to budgeting strategic planning and continual improvement activities ensuring worldclass performance.
- Experience: Proven track record managing highvolume highly automated production processes in a relevant sector.
- Leadership: Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills.
- Organisational Skills: Experience in regulated industries with a proven ability to implement and execute standard work.
- ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Qualifications (Desirable):
- Relevant Health and Safety and environmental certifications.
- Extensive knowledge of industry legislation.
- Experience in quarry or aggregate recycling facility management.
- WAMITAB NonHazardous Waste Transfer/Treatment certification.
