Maths SEN Teacher Specialist SEN School Haringey
A wellestablished SEN school in Haringey is seeking a passionate Maths SEN Teacher to deliver highquality differentiated lessons to students with special educational needs. This role is ideal for a teacher who can inspire and motivate students with learning difficulties to achieve success in mathematics.
Position: Maths SEN Teacher
Type: Fulltime Permanent
Location: Haringey
School Information:
The school specialises in providing tailored education for students with a range of SEN needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and moderate learning difficulties (MLD). The successful candidate will join a supportive team focused on student progress and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging differentiated Maths lessons to SEN students across various key stages.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the unique learning needs of each student.
- Monitor and assess student progress providing feedback to students parents and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the SENCo and teaching assistants to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching Maths.
- Experience working with SEN students particularly those with ASD ADHD or MLD.
- Strong understanding of Maths curriculum and assessment for SEN learners.
- A clear DBS check.
