Solution IT Inc. is looking for Oracle Cloud Financials Technical for one of its clients in Alexandria VA / Hybrid

Job Title: Oracle Cloud Financials Technical

Summary

Reporting Needs Catalog Lead is a key role during an Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation. This individual is responsible for documenting and analyzing the financial reporting needs of the organization. They will work closely with stakeholders across the finance department and potentially other business units to ensure a smooth transition to the new reporting system.

A strong understanding of financial reporting principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Oracle Fusion ERP Financials knowledge is required specifically familiarity with Oracle Fusion Financials reporting capabilities and functionalities. Ability to understand the business needs of different departments and how financial reports are used to inform decisionmaking. The ability to review stakeholder requirements and collaborate effectively with the implementation team. Strong analytical skills to assess reporting needs identify gaps and propose solutions. This person will be responsible for managing the reporting needs catalog prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Needs experience with data analysis tools and reporting software. Understanding of data mapping and integration concepts.

Required Skills:

  • Lead the process of identifying and documenting financial reporting requirements from various departments. Analyze existing reports and identify gaps that need to be addressed by the new system. Map existing reports to Oracle Fusion Financials functionalities and identify any customization needs. Develop a reporting needs catalog that clearly outlines the required reports their purpose frequency and audience. Test and validate the new reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Train endusers on how to access and use the new reports.
  • Undergraduate degree in business administration finance economics accounting information technology or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in PeopleSoft Financial or Oracle Fusion ERP implementations upgrades and maintenance.
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) is a benefit.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and processes SQL and Microsoft Office Product Software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team strong analytical and problemsolving skills ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or its equivalent with relevant experience.

Work Site: Alexandria VA / Hybrid Onsite 3 Days/Week (Tuesday Thursday)

Job Type: 6 Months

Expected Start Date: 2 weeks
