Position Overview:
We are seeking a Refrigeration Technicians for our client located in Zeeland MI 49464.
Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic plant equipment.
- Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
- Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance education (e.g. an industrial maintenance diploma or current enrollment in a technical school) may substitute for experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge: Indepth understanding of refrigeration systems components and controls including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Position Levels: Applicants may be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technician General Refrigeration Technician and Senior Refrigeration Technician positions. Level placement will be determined during the interview based on skillset knowledge and experience.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are essential for logging information processing daily work orders and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and basic math proficiency are required.
Work Environment:
- Ability to occasionally lift push and pull up to 75 lbs; frequently lift 20 lbs.
- Capable of standing on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours a day.
- Able to work in confined and elevated spaces including walking climbing using ladders operating lifts bending and stooping.
- Engages in repetitive gripping pushing and pulling activities.
- Frequently performs overhead work.
- Temperatures within the plant can range from 25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outdoor work may also be required.
