We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Fund Management Operations Specialist with expertise in Portfolio Management Services (PMS). In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of fund management while also leveraging your PMS experience to optimize portfolio management processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund management operations coupled with a deep understanding of PMS operations and a commitment to delivering excellence in client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in PMS operations to streamline and enhance portfolio management processes including portfolio construction rebalancing and performance measurement.
- Demonstrate an indepth understanding of fund management operations including portfolio administration trade execution reconciliation and performance measurement.
- Manage and oversee all operational aspects related to fund management activities ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Act as a liaison between our organization and custodians brokers and other thirdparty service providers. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships to facilitate seamless transactions and resolve any operational issues efficiently.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with fund management activities implementing controls and procedures to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity.
- Generate and analyse operational reports to monitor key performance indicators identify areas for improvement and support decisionmaking processes.
Requirement
- Demonstrable experience in fund management operations with a strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes settlements and reconciliation activities.
- Proven experience in Portfolio Management Services (PMS) including performance measurement and client reporting.
- Currently working in a fund management team with handson experience in operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of fund management operations including trade lifecycle settlement processes and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of liaising with custodians and brokers with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships.
- Prior experience with Order Management Systems and familiarity with the backoffice operations of Orbis Financial Services is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with external stakeholders.
