Position Overview:
The Facility Accountant Section Head is responsible for overseeing financial operations related to facility management property management commercial shops events and site duties. This role requires strong financial oversight budgeting compliance and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Financial Management:
o Oversee financial transactions for facility operations ensuring accuracy and compliance.
o Prepare and manage the annual budget; analyze variances and adjust as needed.
o Monitor and control expenses for maintenance utilities and operations to identify costsaving opportunities.
o Generate financial reports (profit and loss balance sheets cash flow) for stakeholders.
o Ensure adherence to financial policies; facilitate audits.
Utility and Cost Management:
o Manage utility bill processing ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of invoices to tenants.
o Allocate utility costs among units and public areas based on usage.
o Assist with audits related to utility cost allocations.
Property Management Accounting:
o Record propertyrelated transactions (rent collections owner payments maintenance costs).
o Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate property accounts.
o Prepare financial reports for property owners and assist in budget preparation.
Commercial Operations:
o Monitor sales data and prepare financial reports on retail performance.
o Calculate and review rent for commercial tenants; generate and distribute invoices.
Event Financial Oversight:
o Develop and manage budgets for events ensuring profitability.
o Track eventrelated expenses and report on revenue from ticket sales and sponsorships.
o Manage contracts with vendors and performers.
Maintenance Cost Management:
o Analyze maintenance expenses preparing reports on discrepancies and providing cost control recommendations.
o Collaborate with maintenance teams to gather performance data and manage vendor contracts.
Site Financial Supervision:
o Supervise financial activities at construction or operational sites managing budgets and costsaving initiatives.
o Oversee invoice processing payroll management and perform reconciliations.
o Prepare detailed financial reports ensuring compliance with regulations.
Team Leadership:
o Supervise and train onsite accounting staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to processes.
