Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the mining community Haztech is seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse for a fulltime position at a mine just outside of Saskatoon for a threemonth contract. Enjoy a work schedule of Monday to Thursday with 10hour shifts and Fridays off!
Role Overview:
As an integral member of Haztech’s healthcare team you will provide essential onsite emergency medical services addressing both urgent and nonurgent medical needs within the mining facility. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering emergency medical response and assessments
- Providing primary healthcare and managing chronic conditions
- Implementing injury prevention strategies and promoting health initiatives
- Coordinating emergency medical evacuations as necessary
In this role you will have the autonomy to use your judgment and critical thinking skills assessing situations and determining the best course of action to address any challenges that arise.
What We’re Looking For:
- Completion of a recognized Nursing program and a valid license in Saskatchewan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work independently and excel in highpressure situations
- Valid driver’s license and clear criminal record
- Commitment to professionally represent Haztech while delivering exceptional service to our clients
