Join Haztech as an Emergency Management Lead!
Are you passionate about emergency preparedness and ready to take the lead in a fastpaced environment Haztech is looking for a dynamic and experienced Emergency Management Lead to join our team on a 5month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to safety and resilience across key operations.
Role Overview:
As the Emergency Management Lead you will oversee and implement emergency response strategies for our operations ensuring preparedness and rapid response to potential incidents. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing emergency response plans drills and exercises
- Leading onsite emergency management teams during incidents
- Coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders (including first responders)
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Providing leadership in incident investigations and postincident reviews
- Delivering safety training and fostering a culture of preparedness
This role requires critical thinking effective communication and the ability to manage highpressure situations while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience leading emergency response operations
- Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Valid driver’s license and criminal record clearance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards

- FullTime (5month contract)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday in Office in Saskatoon
Location:
- Sitebased with opportunities for occasional remote coordination
License/Certification:
- Emergency Management or related certification (preferred)
