Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain corporate records and documents.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate documents with federal and provincial regulatory authorities.
- Support legal teams in due diligence matters and corporate compliance.
- Conduct research and prepare various legal documents as required.
- Interact with clients to obtain necessary information and documentation.
- Ensure that all corporate records are accurately organized and accessible.
- Participate in firm initiatives promoting diversity equity and inclusion.
Essential Qualifications
- Law degree or equivalent legal education and experience.
- Strong presentation skills and technical knowledge are essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Desired Experience
- Experience in corporate law or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in a law firm environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance regulations.
- Prior involvement in pro bono work or community service initiatives is a plus.
