Job Description

Join tozero as our Team Lead of Operations where you will play a pivotal role in establishing our production processes from the ground up! This is a truly exciting opportunity to shape the future of tozero as you oversee operations and drive efficiency at scale in our semiindustrial and future commercial plants. We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management within the industrial manufacturing or chemical sectors. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring smooth production processes optimizing costs and maintaining the highest standards of quality control.

Tasks

What Youll Do

  • Build Operations from Scratch: Take the lead in setting up all operational processes and structures necessary for our production facilities ensuring they are efficient and effective from day one.
  • Drive Efficiency at Scale: Implement strategies to optimize production workflows reduce costs and enhance overall operational performance as we grow.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Champion continuous improvement efforts leveraging Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and quality as the operations evolve.
  • Team Development: Build and manage a highperforming operational team across Compliance Technical Procurement Supply Chain and HSE Management fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with regulatory standards and company policies while maintaining a strong focus on health safety and environmental practices.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proven Experience: 58 years in operations management within industrial manufacturing or chemical sectors with a strong record of scaling up production processes and building operations from the ground up.
  • Operational Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex operational functions driving results through effective leadership and communication.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to assess operational performance identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for improvement.
  • Technical Proficiency: Indepth knowledge of production processes quality control and supply chain management particularly in the context of recycling or sustainable practices.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A commitment to advancing sustainable practices within operations aligning with tozeros mission to make a positive impact on the planet.

  • Prior to the next session you will receive a case study to work on. This part is important to us to assess your cultural and business fit for the role.
  • Founders interview you will talk to Ksenija (CTO) and Sarah (CEO) and we will evaluate your fit to our company culture (culture values working style etc..).
  • If all parties are happy we will make you an offer and you can start right away.
