Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Over 10 year of experience in Accessibility testing for Web and Mobile based applications
- Evaluate Mobile app websites and applications to ensure they are accessible to people with disabilities.
- Use automated testing tools (prefer BrowserStack Evinced JAWS talkover) and manual techniques to identify accessibility issues.
- Understand and implement Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and other relevant accessibility standards.
- Document and report accessibility issues providing detailed information about the nature and location of the problem.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to rectify accessibility issues.
- Conduct usability testing with individuals with disabilities to gather qualitative data.
- Stay uptodate with technology advancements and accessibility legislation.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to improve the accessibility of digital content.
- Prefer working in banking domain and lead the accessibilitytesting project for online or mobile banking.
- Create and maintain comprehensive reports about the accessibility status of tested products.
- Familiarity with WCAG standards and conducting accessibility audits.
- Strong knowledge of assistive technologies (e.g. JAWS NVDA VoiceOver).
- Understanding of HTML CSS JavaScript and WAIARIA techniques.
- Deep understanding of accessibility nonfunctional requirements
- Added advantage if knowledge of NFRs and nonfunctional testing.
