Job duties:
Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Ensure adherence to all patient care standards and protocols
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Requirements
Job requirements:
BLS Certification (Preferred)
Must be a Registered Nurse with valid license
Nursing: 2 years
Experience in ICU critical care or related settings preferred
Familiarity with eClinical Works or similar electronic medical record systems is a plus
Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine principles is advantageous
Ability to perform iconography procedures is beneficial
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
Comfortable working in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital medicine environment
Job requirement: Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required) or (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred) Minimum 3 years of RN experience required Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License Upon Hire (Required) Completed Step 1 Critical Care Competencies Course Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Wide range of experience working in critical care specialties including cardiac and cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, renal, and GI surgery.
