Position: Senior Java Programmer
Location: Richmond VA (23219)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Java Programmer to join a dynamic team focused on the design development and maintenance of Java/JEE applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development and a strong understanding of enterprise application architecture.
- Extensive experience in building enterprise applications with Java EE technologies (5 years)
- Strong expertise in Core Java concepts including OOP MultiThreading and Exception Handling (5 years)
- Proficient in relational databases specifically Oracle (5 years)
- Experience with Git workflows CI/CD pipelines and automation (3 years)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Testing Frameworks such as Selenium and JUnit (2 years)
