Job Description
Must have local to Austin/TX
Candidates must be local as they will need to be onsite 2 days a week one of those days are Tuesday.
The Database Developer / Administrator at this level will
- Work as part of a Scrum Team
- Complete user stories bugs and technical debt
- Review update and develop PL/SQL including LRS and other Oracle Spatial operations
- Integrate PL/SQL code into Azure DevOps code repository
- Evaluate user requests for new data elements new features and provide any necessary technical assistance
- Perform data modeling prototyping and maintain data dictionary ensuring uniformity of definitions and standards
- Monitor database performance and recommend efficiency improvements
- Help resolve databaserelated security risks and vulnerabilities
- Assist with required reporting as established by the client
Minimum Yrs of Experience Skills and Qualifications: 8 years
- Oracle Spatial (dynamic segmentation LRS SDO)
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Version control systems (Azure DevOps GIT)
- SQL Developer (or other like IDEs)
- Esri ArcSDE (integration with Oracle Spatial)
Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Familiarity with
- Azure DevOps (project management user stories/bugs/test cases etc.)
- Eclipse
- Agile methodology
