Job Description

Possesses an overall knowledge and understanding of application development and architecture that serves as a strong base for technical expertise in a specific product or program.

EXCELLENT Verbal and Written Communication Required.
Note: Contractors will be required to work Onsite 5 days/week. There is potential for this to move to a hybrid model working 3 days onsite 2 days remote.

New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) isrequesting the use of a Application Technical Specialist with specific skills consistent with the set of tools and productscurrently used by the department for FY25 to work on the Video Conferencing andScanning Initiatives. MVChas been operating under tight deadlines and competing priorities. At the heartof this initiatives are the core IT systems that support internal businessprocesses and publicfacing services both over the counter as well asonline.

MVC has been workingdiligently to transition to a new architecture and foundation for multipleprioritized projects and a seasoned professional is critically needed to:

Facilitate the planning process adhere to MVC architecture standards andreduce the risk with overall implementation schedule.

Facilitate planningsessions participate in project management best practice meetings applymethods to the project for effective project management improvements managemultiple advanced project plans provide necessary assistance with effectivereporting to internal and external stakeholders including look ahead reportscritical reports and various project plan reporting.

Some of the newinitiatives for which planning solutioning and implementation planned for areas follows.

1.) VideoConferencing

a. Migrating all documents to Filenetand service for retrieving them for MFA and BLS

2.) MiddlewareConsolidation

a. Migrating BizTalk to Mulesoft

b. Migrating DEXML services to Mulesoft

c. Migrating GT services to Mulesoft.

3.) HRRecruitment

a. Migrating all documents to Filenetand service for retrieving them

MVC is also looking to build a Central Scanning Portal forall units where the Unit Representatives can Scan Index and Retrieve theirDocuments with a State of the Art Portal using latest industry standards. This resource would require knowledge inarchitecting designing and working with the vendor in ensuring the system isbuilt with adherence up to industry best practices.

Candidate needs to have extensive experience in adopting and migrating existing solutions into Mulesoft without the need to change thedownstream clients.
