Job Description

Job Title: ERP Workday Finance Consultant

Location: USA Remote

Duration: / Term: 6 months Contract

Job Description:

  • The primary function of the Workday Finance Consultant is implementation support maintenance and enhancement of the Workday Finance system
  • Design build and implement strategies that can help enhance business performance.
  • Resolve production issues as well as guiding the team in solving Incidents/problems.
  • Support maintenance of Workday Finance configuration including setup and functional configuration
  • Maintain test and implement new functionality within Workday finance modules
  • Manage business application implementations changes enhancements and process improvements.
  • Configure new user/rolebased security group for access management
  • Maintains partnership with relevant stakeholders including Business Information Technology counterparts and Vendors.
  • provide healthcare industry perspective for customer business requirements and mentor junior team members
  • Assist the integration consulting team in helping to architect integrations between Workday and external vendor solutions
  • Ad hoc reporting as required
  • Review software updates and releases and assist with testing as required.
  • Support upgrades interfaces to other core business systems interfaces to external systems and helping to define and support IT processes.
  • Ensure all configuration updates follow proper procedures and workflow in order to comply with internal audit requirements
  • Work closely with end users to prioritize and manage completion of support tickets.
  • Track and report support metrics.
  • Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Minimum one lifecycle implementation of Workday including workflow development and integrations.
  • Understanding of Finance and Accounting processes procedures and best practice
  • Strong interpersonal collaboration and problemsolving skills
  • Proven communication skills with welldeveloped verbal written and presentation ability
  • Strong work ethic intellectual curiosity good judgment mature and positive attitude

  • Experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documenting.
  • Experience with process improvement workflow benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
