Job Description
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for our client project.
In partnership with a visionary collaborator we empower travelers to uncover relevant options at every juncture of their journeys. The goal is to craft intelligent and enhanced recommendation experiences for both Web and Mobile platforms (iOS and Android) dedicated to the travel sector. We enable millions of travelers to curate and relish unforgettable trips.
IF YOU ARE
- A professional with over 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong AWS strong Python
- Skilled in AWS ECS EC2 IAM and S3
- Knowledgeable in CI/CD using Jenkins Docker Terraform and GitHub Actions
- Proficient in messaging with Kafka and RabbitMQ as well as reporting with Splunk DataDog and NewRelic
- Experienced in Data Lake Data Analytics and Data Visualization technologies including Qubole Snowflake Teradata Looker and Tableau
- Confidently working with data tools such as Datatools DataBricks MSSQL MyBatis MongoDB Elastic Search and BI Tools like Tableau Looker Qlikview Qliksense and Alation
- Accustomed to working with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban involving requirements elicitation estimations peer review and collaboration with the product team
- Strong in problemsolving mentoring others and showcasing great communication skills
- Open to learning new technologies and focused on continual improvement
- Confident in metricdriven resultsoriented approaches
- Capable of communicating fluently in English in a multicultural environment
AND YOU WANT TO
- Work with an international team of support engineers responsible for all platform operations processes tools and resources required to support high availability onprem and cloudbased data platforms
- Monitor processes shared by internal groups and vendors to ensure a comprehensive maintenance process and implement daily reporting
- Facilitate communication across workstreams to ensure satisfaction in troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Manage reliability and availability of data and ensure work according to established benchmarks and standards
- Collaborate with the Data and AI teams to support and innovate on the Data Platforms
- Provide handson technical leadership and participate in decisionmaking
- Participate in the resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions
Work conditions: B2B contract longterm project with fulltime involvement providing work equipment.
Please pay attention: The candidate needs to be located in Gurugram and times a week visit an office
