Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has openings for a Social WorkerLong Term Care. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Assignment Start Date: 10/25/2024

13 weeks Days 8hour shift 40 hours per weekly guaranteed

Uses a holistic approach in the provision of medical social services to patients and their families to assist in solving or ameliorating physical social emotional and/or environmental problems which or prevent patients from attaining or retaining optimum health. Social services are provided to people of all ages from intrauterine through the elderly.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• One (1) year experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is required

Education:

• MSW (Master of Social Work) from an accredited school of Social Work is required

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• State of Alaska license at Masters level (LMSW) required or eligibility.
• A valid Alaska State drivers license is required.

EMR System: experience preferred

Shift: Days

Vaccination Requirement: All COVID19 vaccinations are required at the time of submission.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of computer use.
• Prefer experience working in crosscultural settings with bilingual language skills in English & Yupik.
• Ability to read comprehend & write at the college level & effectively present information in oneonone & group situations to patients/clients agencies communities & other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add subtract multiply/divide in all units of measure with whole numbers common fractions & decimals; compute rate ratio and percent; draw/interpret bar graphs.
• Should be able to perform supervisory tasks when the supervisor is away and work independently and in collaboration with another social worker.
