Position Details:
- Title: Inclusion Teacher
- Location: Revere MA
- Duration: Till June 2025
- Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
- Position Type: Contract
- Working Hours: 3035 hours weekly from Monday to Friday
- Student Age Group: Middle School
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure in Moderate Disabilities for Grades PreK8 or 512.
- Implement SEI Endorsement strategies in the classroom.
- Demonstrate excellent computer and technology skills using various software and applications.
- Commit to high expectations for achievement and equal access to quality instruction.
- Support academic and linguistic proficiency for all students.
- Work towards closing the opportunity gap.
- Engage in selfreflection and act as an active learner.
- Facilitate interactive dialogue with all members of the school community.
- Apply studentcentered pedagogy and culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a flexible working environment.
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written means sharing information and resources appropriately.
Qualifications:
- MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure.
- Experience with Moderate Disabilities for Grades PreK8 or 512.
- SEI Endorsement.
- Strong foundation in studentcentered pedagogy.
- Experience with culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to work within a school community.
- Ability to perform satisfactory State and Federal background checks.
- Bachelors degree.
