Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a Pediatric Dentist in Lane County Oregon to educate parents and guardians on child oral health practices specializes in providing dental care for infants children and adolescents and create a welcoming and supportive environment for young patients.

Requirements:

Must have a pediatric dentistry specialty certification and valid state licensure.

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

Proficiency with electronic health record systems specifically EPIC/OCHIN

Familiarity with community health practices and integrated care models preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provide dental care specifically for infants children and adolescents.

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and develop treatment plans.

Perform restorative and preventive dental procedures tailored to children.

Educate children and parents about proper oral hygiene practices.

Create a welcoming and childfriendly environment to reduce anxiety.

Monitor the development of childrens teeth and jaws.

Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed for comprehensive care.

Stay current on pediatric dental practices and continuing education.
