Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contract Specialist to oversee and manage the procurement processes and contract negotiations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess advanced academic qualifications (Master s degree MBA or PhD in a relevant field) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to foster supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Draft negotiate and finalize contracts with vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage contract renewals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance collaboration.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with internal departments (e.g. finance legal operations) to ensure procurement processes are efficient and compliant.
  • Participate in crossdepartmental projects to support organizational objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement and contracts.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Assist in budget preparation and management for procurement activities.
  • Analyse spending patterns and implement costsaving initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities savings achieved and supplier performance.
  • Utilize data analysis to inform decisionmaking and improve procurement practices
  • Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into procurement processes.



Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Master s degree MBA or PhD in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Finance or a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement contract management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and supplier management.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
