Job Description

As the HRBP for the Tlazala Plant (with responsibility for other plants across Mexico) you will be a key member of the Human Resources team ensuring that HR practices align with business needs across various locations. This role is integral in developing and implementing HR strategies that support both local plant operations and the broader organization s goals.

Requirements

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 57 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) or similar role preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in managing HR operations across multiple locations or plants.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Experience in employee relations talent management and organizational development.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role.
  • Ability to manage HR operations across multiple plants with a focus on employee engagement workforce planning and HR compliance.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition performance management and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and conflictresolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and software (HRIS) as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Mexican labor laws and HR compliance regulations.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple HR initiatives concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for the Tlazala plant while overseeing HR functions across other plants in Mexico.
  • Implement HR policies procedures and initiatives in line with local labor laws and corporate standards.
  • Provide guidance and support on recruitment performance management and employee relations across all plant locations.
  • Partner with plant managers and department heads to ensure that HR strategies support operational and business objectives.
  • Oversee employee development initiatives including training career pathing and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations labor laws and company policies at all plant locations.
  • Address and resolve employee grievances conduct investigations and promote a positive work environment.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention across the plants.
  • Collaborate with global HR teams to align local HR practices with corporate HR strategies.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics providing insights to improve workforce performance and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • 57 years of HRBP experience ideally in a manufacturing or multilocation environment.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of Mexican labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Proven experience managing HR processes across multiple plants or locations.
  • Strong leadership communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel between plant locations as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Several years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR business partnering. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Experience working in a global or multi-site organization is a plus. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is desirable but not always required.
