Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Nights
Provide care for patients utilizing fetal and maternal monitoring equipment.
Manage the patients pain including epidural and patient controlled analgesia administration.
Assist physician during delivery treatment examination and surgical procedures.
Monitor record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
Provide patient and family education on labor pain and newborn care.
As an RN will conduct detailed clinical assessments prioritize patient and family needs create implement and evaluate care plans.
Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION Grad of an Accredited Program
MAJOR Nursing
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
