Job Description
Workwise Healthcare Staffing and Consulting is seeking for skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Cardiac Unit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients utilizing fetal and maternal monitoring equipment.
- Manage the patients pain including epidural and patient controlled analgesia administration.
- Assist physician during delivery treatment examination and surgical procedures.
- Monitor record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Provide patient and family education on labor pain and newborn care.
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments prioritize patient and family needs create implement and evaluate care plans.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid nursing license
- BLS certification (or must obtain within 30 days of starting)
- 1 year relevant experience (under Med Surg Cardiac unit)
Work schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 12 hours per day 3x per week (Nights)
Location: Round Rock TX
