Job Description
Job Title: Risk Assessment Lead
Location: Columbus OH (Hybrid model with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work)
Type: Contract to Hire (initial contract duration of 3 months)
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct risk assessments for IT systems in development.
2. Collaborate with project teams to communicate security and control requirements.
3. Provide oversight to ensure requirements are met throughout the development cycle and escalate concerns when necessary.
4. Partner with Technology Segment Risk Manager Sr and Director to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
5. Deliver regular Risk updates to segment leadership teams.
6. Participate in oversight and governance groups as assigned.
7. Maintain the Risk Universe across Cyber and Enterprise IT.
8. Ensure coverage alignment with FFIEC guidance.
9. Coordinate schedules with regulatory and audit calendars.
10. Work with Delivery and Risk Partners to understand active work and monitor progress against schedule.
11. Ensure appropriate coverage of risk assessment domains over a defined time period.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technology Risk position preferably in technology cybersecurity or infrastructure environment.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
1. Problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
4. Strong research and analytical skills.
5. Ability to multitask manage projects and work in a fastpaced environment.
6. Familiarity with SLDC process and project management.
7. Proficiency in MS Office.
8. Certifications like CISA CISSP or CRISC are preferred.
