Job Description
Position Responsibilities
Manage preparation of detailed calculations drawings and technical specifications
Manage development of procurement documents including drawings and specifications for design and construction phases
Prepare and evaluate proposals technical reports and cost estimates
Conduct detailed engineering analyses required for procurement and construction purposes
Conduct meetings and build relationships with the client to review project details and requirements
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineering and technical professionals
Desired Skills and Experience
Manage overall design of assigned power systems projects including engine generators paralleling switchgear protective relaying medium and low voltage electrical distribution equipment lighting systems and associated electrical schemes and controls
Conduct all required electrical specification sections
Mentor junior engineers and designers provide design direction and constructive feedback
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Professional Engineering license in Texas
5 to 10 years of related engineering experience desired ideally in the consulting field or working with a fullservice Architecture/Engineering Firm (A/E) or Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) firm
