Job Brief: Shantis Food is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and an eye for detail to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. In this role you will manage production processes improve efficiency and ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations.
Responsibilities:
o Develop implement and maintain production schedules and processes to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency
o Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement product launches
o Review Production specification to verify accurate weight moisture and mixing ingredient.
o Examine the incoming material and compare to documentation for accuracy and quality.
o Create and maintain inventory records and manage raw material inventory levels
o Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and industry standards including FSSAIISO 22000 HACCP and GMP
o Identify and address production issues and area(s) for improvement
o Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in production facilities
o Prepare production reports and communicate with upper management regarding production goals and results
Skills Required:
o Bachelors degree in food science or food technology B.Tech business or related field
o Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in food production management
o Extensive knowledge of HACCP GMP and other food safety regulations
o Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
o Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions effectively.
