Responsibilities for Heart of House Team Leader
- Supervision and Training:
- Lead and supervise house attendants guest runners and public area attendants.
- Ensure colleagues perform their duties efficiently and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Motivate and guide staff to provide excellent service to guests.
- Ensure linen closets are fully stocked on a daily basis and assist where needed.
- Carpet and Upholstery Care Program:
- Maintain the carpet care program.
- Train house attendants on carpet extraction and shampooing machines.
- Regularly inspect and maintain carpets to ensure a clean environment.
- Regularly working with floor supervisors to maintain the cleanliness of guest room furniture upholstery.
- Water Refilling Inventory:
- Oversee the daily water refilling inventory.
- Ensure an adequate supply of fresh water for guest comfort.
- Ensure an adequate supply of bottles and caps inventory
- Amenities Refilling Pilot Program:
- Implement and oversee the amenities refilling pilot program.
- Maintain the refilling inventory once fully implemented.
- Supervise recycling program for used bottles soaps and coffee pods
- Maintenance Program Oversight:
- Supervise maintenance programs for cribs rollaway beds vacuums etc.
- Ensure proper functioning and appearance of these items.
- Maintain parts and supplies for above items.
Qualifications :
- High School graduate or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience of two years as a house attendant guest runner public area attendant and laundry attendant is preferred.
- Able to communicate both written and verbally.
- Reading and counting is essential. Computer efficient in Excel and Word is preferred.
- Requires basic knowledge of housekeeping
- Must be able to coach council and develop employees through basic skill. Must be able to motivate by example either on the production floor or in a classroom environment.
- Needs to have an aptitude to promote minimum levels of skills and abilities that would create a positive outcome in a hot and challenging work environment.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds
- Must have ability to work with others to create attention to detail speed accuracy followthrough courtesy cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision.
- Must have ability to secure minimum levels of skills and abilities that would allow for a proficient job orientation based on specific tasks and methods. This is to provide a safe working environment according to OSHA regulations that would protect both the employee and coworkers.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. throughout the day.
- Ability to follow directions perform tasks with attention to detail speed accuracy and followthrough.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to work well as part of a team Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies and equipment.
- Replenish supplies and equipment as needed during the shift.
- Report any faulty equipment linen shortages maintenance needs safely hazards and other problems immediately to your supervisor.
- Restock work areas for the next shift as assigned.
- Successfully complete the training / certification process for this position.
