Qualifications :
We are seeking an exceptional fulltime Pastry Chef de Partie to join our Conference
- Must have several years of experience working in a high volume 5star Luxury Hotel Conference and Events environment
- Ability to demonstrate advanced patisserie skills including chocolate tempering
- 5 star Luxury Hotel VIP club experience is essential for this role
- A team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passion for food and quality products and ingredients
- Adept in using commercialgrade kitchen equipment
- Supervise and prepare all baked goods; pastries and desserts in accordance with established recipes
- Maintain high levels of communication between SousChefs and Chef de Parties at all times in particular ensuring special messages/requests are dealt with promptly
- Operate in accordance with HACCP standards at all times
- Must have full Australian working rights.
- 38 Hours weekly rotating roster; hourly pay rate Restaurant Industry Award.
