As a Commis 3 at Fairmont Doha you will assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes ensuring high standards of quality and consistency. This entrylevel role provides an opportunity for you to develop your culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a highend kitchen environment. You will work under the guidance of more senior chefs to support the efficient operation of the kitchen and contribute to the overall success of our dining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and standards. This includes chopping mixing and cooking as required.
Station Support: Support the Chef de Partie in managing and organizing your designated section ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
Stock Management: Assist in monitoring and managing stock levels including receiving deliveries and properly storing food items.
Learning & Development: Take an active role in learning new cooking techniques kitchen procedures and culinary skills. Seek feedback and guidance from senior staff to improve performance.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff including Chefs de Partie and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.
Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is advantageous.
