PURPOSE OF POSITION
To manage the overall operation of the bar following established objectives for the highest standards in professional management and administration as well as in effective and fair personnel development.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar including inventory management staff scheduling and customer service.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Train and supervise bar staff ensuring they are knowledgeable about products policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of beverages and food served at the bar.
- Manage and maintain the bars financial records including cash handling budgeting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all local state and federal laws and regulations regarding alcohol service and sales.
- Collaborate with other departments such as kitchen staff and event planners to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the bars offerings including menu items promotions and events.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in an international luxury brand.
- Maldives work experience is preferred.
- Proficient in English. Ability to speak in Dhivehi is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of MICROS.
- Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Outgoing personality excellent leadership and communication skills flexible working hours ability to work in a fastpaced highpressured environment.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
