Job Description
- Hygiene managers are safety and health professionals who inspect and supervise workplaces to ensure that workers and the public are protected from dangerous or unsafe conditions.
- They may inspect work spaces and machinery to verify that it is safe and study the effects that business have on the surrounding environment.
- Hygiene managers may make recommendations about how companies might operate in a safer manner and often work for government agencies enforcing regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Food Science
- Minimum 2 to 3 years Hygiene Manager experience preferably in four or five star hotel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point)
- Responsible a selfstarter capable of handling multifaceted projects and of working under pressure.
- Good communication & guest relations skills a proactive problem solver.
- Good management skills.
- Ability to train culinary and service team on hygiene standards.
