Job Description
Company Background:
Our client Rosti IMS Sdn Bhd located in Senai Johor Malaysia is part of a global company that has been developing manufacturing and supplying plastic products since 1944. With 1800 employees and production sites across Sweden Germany the UK Poland Turkey Malaysia and China Rosti provides plastic injection moulding services and contract manufacturing solutions for markets including business machines professional appliances industrial products home automation and medical solutions. Rosti has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Nordstjernan since 2010.
Job Purpose:
To lead and coordinate Project team on the effective introduction and on time delivery of customer programs (NPI) to manage all program related tasks new and existing to continually improve process capability delivery of services provided to all our customers both internal and external ensuring adherence to all company procedures.
Main Success Criteria:
Project management ensuring on time and cost effective implementation of customer programs all of which should be in accordance with company procedures focus on continues improvement and cost reduction. Departmental KPI and PI are analyzed at all times and acted upon.

HSE Basic Criteria:
Be responsible for own health and safety and others who may be affected by his/her actions.
Adhere to the health safety and environmental policies and ISO45001:2018 ISO 14001:2015 requirement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
HSE:
Design or introduce new product or process or equipment with full HSE risk assessment. Take actions to reduce HSE impact in any change management to current process
Project Management:
To effectively manage new projects from customer concept to manufacturing handover thru APQP management.
- On Time Delivery 30%
- Budget Control
- Quality requirements.
General Engineering Function:
Liase with customer at all times focus on all project related issues.
Quality & HSE Systems:
To liase with quality department & HSE engineer on specific related tasks adherence to systems.
Procedural Compliance:
Ensure all documents and maintenance of records is up to date at all times.
Continuous Improvement:
To continually improve our controls systems and performance both internal and external.

Interaction:
Management Team: Monthly
- Critical. To understand critical business information.
Project Team: Daily
- Critical. Understand where we are what the issues/barriers are and agree priorities.
Customer: Weekly
- Critical. Select and reach an agreement on updates and status.
Other Rosti Sites: When Required upon
- Very Important. To liaise and provide requested information and updates on projects status.
Learning Description:
The job holder will have the opportunity to learn:
- Project management process and methodology for new product launch project including Time Management Prioritize and Planning
- Injection molding and assembly process
- Quality system requirement for the required market
Others:
- The person should have drive initiative and working on detail with a clear focus on results. Communication oral and written skills should be good with team work spirit.
- With experience as a process engineer in handling moulds and machine setup.
- Possesses an understanding of moulding process parameter setup troubleshooting and tooling.
Education/ Formal Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or above major in engineering or manufacturing
Experience:
Above 6 years related working experience in manufacturing company; having the knowledge of injection molding
Competencies:
- Quality System and Compliance Requirement: Good knowledge of quality systems ISO9001 ISO45001 ISO14001 ISO1348
- Engineering/Quality Tools: Good Knowledge and direct experience with quality tools (i.e. APQP PPAP FMEA.)
- Analytical problem solving: Predict problem good ability to find out the root cause and solve it
- Interpersonal skills: Can work well in a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues customers.
- Interpersonal skills: Can work well in a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues customers.
- Time management: Well planned the work according to the priority of importance. On time delivery of new projects.
- Constant improvement concept: Good constant improvement concept and Lean knowledge.
- English: Good command of English both in speaking and writing.
- Computer literacy: Office Project etc.
Working Hours:
8am5pm(5 working days)
Salary Range:
RM5000RM9000
Allowances:
Petrol RM300 Mobile RM100 Meal RM4/per working day
