Job Description
Job Title: Java Solution Architect
Job Location: Las Vegas NV (onsite Monday to Friday)
Job Duration: Long term
Essential Job Functions:
Build a technology vision and strategy for a solution or business domain
Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to develop a solution design
Collaborate with Product Managers Engineering Managers and other Architects in shaping and aligning product roadmap
Present complex technical proposals to both technical and nontechnical audiences
Conduct POC as needed to evaluate new technologies and approaches
Lead the development team during solution implementation
Communicate with the Data Architect for table design
Work across multiple projects with a variety of individuals and groups
Promote reuse through inner sourcing opportunities
Recognize industry technology trends and emerging technologies
Actively promote the companys mission within the organization
Collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines outcomes and results
Demonstrate company core values of excellence ownership collaboration and integrity
Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills
Display a strong collaborative approach to problemsolving
Position Requirements:
57 years of solution architecture experience
Microservice design experience
Deep experience in AGILE/Lean development methodologies
Excellent knowledge and strong experience with AWS services
Good knowledge of containerization tools and technologies
Strong proficiency with Java and Java frameworks SQL and NoSQL DBMS
Strong proficiency in Kafka message queue
Good understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools
Excellent communication problemsolving and project management skills
Preferred:
BA in a related field
The Information Technology team supports almost every area of the Bank by utilizing technology solutions to collect and interpret data for business strategies and providing infrastructure for all business operations.
