About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023 BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged Hungary which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a worldleading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for factory quality planning development and improvement of quality processes preparation of inspection documents and training of inspectors to promote overall quality improvement.
    • Responsible for coordinating analyzing improving and judging quality issues detected within the factory providing feedback and tracking progress on quality issues discovered during incoming materials processes and offline inspections.
    • Participate in the formulation of quality objectives track the achievement of quality objectives and rectify indicators that have not been achieved.
    • Responsible for tracking and closing quality issues during the trial production phase of new vehicle models and cooperating with the design department for trial production.
    • Participate in product design verification and process review to ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements; develop a new product quality management plan and monitor its implementation to achieve the predetermined quality level.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English and Hungarianas a working language.
  • Degree in Mechanical Automotive or Management field;
  • Master relevant knowledge of automotive assembly processes.
  • Familiar with qualityrelated knowledge of automotive welding manufacturing and management systems such as ISO9000 ISO14000 IATF16949.
  • Proficient in the use of computer software (Office AutoCAD UG etc.).
