Job Description
About the department
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology roadmap for Europe and works on developing advanced full electric bus series which fulfill current and future European public transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
The R&D team is looking for an OnBoarding system engineer to discuss technical solutions and details with customers and suppliers and help China R&D team finish Bus data design.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Participate in the configuration docking technical scheme discussion data matching and function debugging of the OnBoarding systems of commercial vehicle(such as ticketing systems public transportation dispatch systems etc.);
- Support the installation of factory electrical systems and the handling of electrical problemsDiscuss technical solutions and details with customers and suppliers;
- Accurately and quickly convey customer order configuration requirements to the R&D team in Shenzhen China;
- Knowledge of 3D CAD software (NX preferably) and a good understanding of 2D drawing;
- Who are excited about the public transportation and ideally have experience in a similar field e.g. with a German bus operating company or a system provider in the areas of bus dispatching system multimedia system and ticketing system;
- Can adapt to shortterm temporary business trips in the EU discuss technical solutions with customers and suppliers face to face and support order PDI debugging.
Your profile:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or similar;
- 12 years of electrical test engineering experience;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language chinese will be a plus;
- Very clear and systematic thinking that demonstrates strong judgment and problemsolving competencies;
- Excellent organization skills and able to work well in a team setting;
- Willing to take business travel;
- Driver licenseEU;
- You have a creative mind and strong analytical skills
- Understanding of legislation and standards.
