Job Description
OCU Group is seeking an experienced M&E Water Project Manager to join our team. The role involves managing all M&E works across the London Reading and Swindon areas of our business.
Responsibilities
- Managing supervisors and other support staff as required
- Oversee manage and arrange subcontractors & contract labour as required
- Quality checks and contract compliance
- Ensure toolbox talks and new company procedures delivered to the workforce
- Manage works and contract in line with requirements of NEC
- Stock Management and coordination of site materials
- Programme works and set targets with teams to ensure programmes are achieved or exceeded
- Agreeing delivery dates with client and managing the programme of works
- Weekly internal & monthly contract programme updates to clients
- Client liaison meetings and business development
- Recording works and track sheets/ day works as required
- Monthly report reviews with commercial team
- Regular site & photo records taken on site and uploaded
- Promote cost saving and increased productivity through initiatives and value engineering
Skills & Experience
- Previous M&E Experience is essential
- Previous Water experience is essential
- Able to run and maintain several programmes of work concurrently
- Local Knowledge of Client Processes and Local Authorities
- Commercially Astute NEC proficient
- Microsoft Suite Expert
- Previous Experience in a similar role (5 years desirable)
- Programming Experience
- Degree qualified in a relevant field (desirable)
- Strong Safety Background
- Experience working with Thames Water desirable
