Job Description

OCU Groupare currently recruiting for an experienced Fibre BuildManager to join our team working in South Wales.

As a Fibre Build Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Management of all Cabling/Splicing activities
  • Managing supervisors and other support staff as required
  • Oversee manage and arrange subcontractors & contract labour as required
  • Quality checks and contract compliance
  • Ensure toolbox talks and new company procedures delivered to the workforce
  • Design Verification and client ECI on allocated works
  • Stock Management and coordination of site materials
  • Programme works and set targets with teams to ensure programmes are achieved or exceeded
  • Agreeing delivery dates with client
  • Monthly contract programme updates to clients
  • Client liaison meetings and business development
  • Recording works and track sheets/ day works as required
  • Monthly report reviews with commercial team

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous FTTP Experience is essential
  • Able to run and maintain several programmes of work concurrently
  • Local Knowledge of Networks and Local Authorities
  • Commercially Astute
  • Microsoft Suite Expert
  • Previous Experience in a similar role (5 years desirable)
  • NRSWA
