Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: Buckhead GA (Onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Tax Manager to lead and oversee taxrelated matters including planning compliance preparation and review. The Tax Manager will stay current with tax laws and ensure accurate and timely handling of all tax obligations. This is a fulltime onsite position with a focus on managing comprehensive tax services for various clients including individuals small businesses and corporations.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Planning: The ability to analyze a clients financial situation and develop strategies to optimize tax benefits. This involves forwardthinking and strategic decisionmaking to reduce tax liabilities and increase tax efficiencies while staying compliant with current laws.
Tax Compliance: Ensuring all clients tax returns reports and payments are submitted accurately and on time. This requires staying uptodate with federal state and local tax laws and regulations and applying them effectively to avoid penalties or legal issues.
Tax Preparation: Expertise in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals businesses and corporations. This includes gathering all necessary documentation completing tax forms and submitting them while identifying potential deductions and credits.
Tax Law Knowledge: Indepth understanding of the complex and everchanging tax regulations at the federal state and local levels. This knowledge is essential for making informed decisions ensuring compliance and advising clients on legal taxsaving opportunities.
Certified Public Accounting (CPA): A CPA certification demonstrates high competence in accounting and tax laws. A CPA brings authority in preparing financial reports conducting audits and providing financial consulting services ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Analytical & ProblemSolving Skills: The ability to assess complex financial data identify issues or opportunities and develop effective solutions. Strong problemsolving skills are vital in handling challenging tax situations developing strategies to mitigate risks and maximizing financial outcomes for clients.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to clearly explain complex tax matters and financial concepts to clients in a way they can understand. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining client relationships providing excellent customer service and collaborating with team members.
Finance: A strong background in financial principles and practices including budgeting financial reporting and investment strategies. This skill ensures tax decisions are integrated with broader financial planning to meet the overall financial goals of clients.
