To interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience. To guide guests through the entire restaurant experience in a luxurious and elegant manner. To assist in the development implementation and maintenance of quality standards for outlets. The Server is responsible for taking the guests food and beverage orders interacting oneonone with the guests providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. This is a fastpaced position with constant guest interaction. This person must be highly motivated energetic and possess excellent and polished communication skills.
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Provide the highest quality service to all guests at all times by instilling the company philosophy.
- Participate actively in the resolution of guest concerns.
- Take orders answer questions and make recommendations for menu listed products.
- Use appropriate upselling techniques.
- Clear clean reset and maintain restaurant tables during shift.
- Assist other Servers in offering the highest level of service.
- Understand the processes of delivery and removal of all product and equipment.
- Handle all guest checks according to Hotel policy.
- Maintain pars and equipment as needed to successfully accomplish all restaurant service tasks.
- Completion of side work as assigned by Manager.
- Engage and genuinely interact with guests while anticipating their needs
- Explain food and beverage items in detail to our guests
- Follow all hotel standards LQA standards and Forbes 5 Stars standards while conducting selfaudits to ensure 100% compliance on all interactions with guests.
- Complete any necessary opening and closing paperwork and side work duties as required
- Work well with others as a team
- Prepare food and beverage as per guidelines
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures
- Assist in filling in at other F&B areas and/or outlets as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Display a congenial appearance and is well groomed at all times.
- Assist guests in a friendly professional and polite manner.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Follow directions from Manager at all times.

Qualifications :
- Prior serving experience with a minimum of 2 years in a similar restaurant environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to speak read write and understand the English language.
- Requires excellent and polished communication skills
- Must possess basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.
- Must have superior guest service abilities as well as a complete understanding of California serving guidelines.
- Possess a proven track record for guest satisfaction
- Possess a strong sense of urgency
- Display a pleasant and cheerful disposition
- Maintain a high level of integrity
- Display a confident and professional appearance at all times and always meet company grooming standards
- Adapt in difficult situations with problemsolving abilities and make decisions when necessary
- Able to work flexible hours weekends and holidays
- Speak write and read English at an advanced level
- Basic math adding subtracting division
- Cash handling experience
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handler Certification
- Must be able to obtain TIPs or Alcohol Safety Certification
