Developer BI Power

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Specialist for a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Immediate start required, ideally within the next few weeks.

Key Requirements

Expertise in Power BI: Must have PL-300 certification or higher, with the ability to create user-friendly, easily manageable models.
Python & SQL proficiency: Must have experience with complex and large datasets.
Complex relational database knowledge: Strong understanding of complex databases is essential.
MS Access knowledge: Required for integration and database management.
Proven ability to translate ideas into practical solutions.
Ability to showcase recent Power BI projects.
Must be able to design models that are accessible to users with basic Power BI knowledge.
Data Connectivity

Connects to various data sources, including Excel, SQL Server, Azure, and many third-party applications (like Salesforce, Google Analytics).
Data Transformation

Uses Power Query for data preparation, allowing users to clean and transform data through a user-friendly interface.
Interactive Visualizations

Offers a wide range of visualizations (charts, graphs, maps) to represent data interactively and intuitively.
Dashboards and Reports

Users can create customizable dashboards that consolidate multiple reports and data visualizations into a single view.
Real-Time Data Access

Provides real-time data monitoring through streaming datasets, allowing businesses to make informed decisions quickly.
Natural Language Queries

Users can ask questions about their data in natural language, and Power BI will interpret and provide visualizations accordingly.
Collaboration and Sharing

Facilitates collaboration by allowing users to share dashboards and reports with team members or stakeholders via the Power BI Service.

Desired candidate profile

Power BI Proficiency: Strong understanding of Power BI features and functionalities, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Data Visualization: Ability to create effective and engaging visualizations that communicate insights clearly.
Experience
experience in data analysis or business intelligence, with a focus on Power BI.
Technical Skills
Data Manipulation: Proficient in data transformation tools such as Power Query and experience with SQL for querying databases.
Analytical Tools: Familiarity with other analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) can be beneficial.
