Job Description

Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology Finance and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Hot Springs AR in search of a highly talented Director of People Services.

Job Summary:

The Director of People Services will lead the Human Resources department overseeing all aspects of coworker relations recruitment training and HR policy development. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices in the healthcare industry.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organizations goals
  • Oversee recruitment onboarding and retention initiatives
  • Manage employee relations including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Develop and administer HR policies and procedures
  • Lead training and development programs for all levels of staff
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Manage the HR department budget
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational development initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Human Resource Management or related field (Masters degree preferred)
  • SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) certification preferred
  • Considerable knowledge of coworker relations and HR management principles practices and procedures
  • Strong understanding of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
