Job Description
Responsibilities
Build backend services and APIs to create scalable engineering systems
Influence the organization engineering leaders product managers and the business to develop a unified approach to Hosting overall architecture
Implement significant portions of the system and help others in the implementation
Understand how key technical decisions will drive business outcomes
Advise/mentor other engineers
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
5 years of relevant industry experience as a backend/fullstack software engineer
Proficient in Java and related backend technology stack
Exposure to architectural patterns of large highscale web applications such as welldesigned APIs high volume data pipelines and efficient algorithms
Understanding of data structures and problem solving approaches and ability to articulate trade offs
Passion for creating highly effective technology platform
Comfortable with tackling ambiguous problems and unblocking yourself
Focus on building high quality products; every one of our flows affects the business bottom line
Data driven in how you solve problems and validate youve solved them correctly
Have a strong desire to mentor the careers and development of other engineers
Technical leadership: hands on experience leading project teams and setting technical direction and strategy
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Examples of working across global teams and organizations on technical initiatives.
BS in Computer Science / MIS or equivalent workrelated experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 3-5 years of experience in Learning and Development, with a strong focus on technical training. Proficiency in developing technical training content and materials. Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams. Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
