Job Description
- Greet guests promptly and courteously. Take food and beverage orders provide recommendations and answer questions regarding the menu ingredients and preparation.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system relay them to the kitchen and bar staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional manner. Ensure all items are presented attractively and meet the hotels quality standards.
- Set and clear tables efficiently maintaining cleanliness and organization. Refill water glasses and respond to guest requests.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Report any issues to the supervisor.
- Promote and upsell menu items specials and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Work closely with kitchen staff bartenders and other team members to ensure seamless service. Assist with training new staff as needed.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner. Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
