Job Description

Job Title: Finance Operations Specialist (PH)
Location: Remote (PH Search)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the fund’s administrator communicating new investment positions supporting cash movement reviewing and ensuring accuracy of quarterly financial statements reviewing investor statements providing ongoing KYC/AML documentation as required
  • Support ongoing investor distributions
  • Support the development of budgets and expense tracking
  • Work internally and externally to support ongoing compliance efforts
  • Support the trading team in the tracking of and cost basis of various lots of cryptocurrencies to inform trade decisions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the fund’s external auditors (audited annually)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the fund’s accountants the candidate will work with our administrator to organize and ensure the accuracy of documents drafted
  • Collaborate with our bookkeeper to ensure accuracy of work
  • Manage document storage including investment documents investor side letters investor subscription documents signed contracts etc
Requirements:
  • Understand FIFO LIFO HIFO and specific lot accounting
  • Experience with capital gains reporting and tracking
  • Must be able to read and draft financial statements
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel Word and Powerpoint
  • No task is above this candidate we are a lean organization where everyone is a team player

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and break down complex projects into smaller more digestible next steps
  • Exceptional attention to detail organization and planning this hire needs to be system and process oriented to be successful

Nice to Have:

  • Demonstrable personal interest or knowledge of blockchain and the crypto space
  • Basic understanding of cryptocurrency transaction stamping
  • Experience supporting a business during an audit
  • Familiarity with GSuite tools and products
  • Experience with funds and/or familiarity with fund structures
