Finance Business Analyst Job Description
1. Sound knowledge of business areas of Finance like general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable credit management asset accounting
2. Proficient in design and configuration of at least one or more FI submodules General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivables Asset Accounting Cash and Banking.
3. Have a strong working exposure in SAP FICO including Enterprise Structure Master Data.
4. Experience in configuring Taxes(Direct/Indirect Taxes) and tax procedures
5. Very good understanding of integration of SAP modules in endtoend business processes
6. Good fundamental knowledge of business processes like RTR CTC P2P product costing material ledger profitability analysis cost element accounting cost center accounting internal orders and profit center accounting.
7. Sound knowledge of integration areas of Finance & Control module with other business areas like material management sales and distribution & production planning
8. Strong knowledge in FI MM and FISD account assignments.
9. Clear understanding of accounting entries passed in SD and FIPP/MM area having impact on CO.
10. Knowledge of Consolidation Special purpose ledger SOX US GAAP Background on the Technical and Functional upgrade
11. Knowledge on SAP tables and data retrieval using SAP tables.
12. Rich experience as an enduser or a process analyst working very closely with the business and has grown over time to take up the responsibilities of a consultant.
13. Exposure to Cutover activities in FI (GL AP AR AA & Banking)
Deliverables
1. Identify and analyze business requirements and processes prepare detailed business processes.
2. Perform requirement gathering and analyze business requirements to translate them into business processes leading to TOBE documentation and or Functional specifications.
3. Assists in developing and modifying systems requirements documentation to meet client needs.
4. Discover process gaps perform feasibility studies/solution reviews and make appropriate recommendations.
5. Develop detailed requirements (business user process system requirements functional and nonfunctional) and establish traceability to business vision.
6. Involvement in the development of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure enterprise operational and IT deliverable.
7. Assist business training teams in content for training documentation.
