Attract engage and retain profitable new business from brokers within the target market in order to increase the broker base to enhance channel profitability.

Educational and Qualification Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualification.
FSBrecognized qualification with at least 120 FAIS credits to act as a compliant supervisor.
FAIS Representative Regulatory Exam (RE5) passed.
Completed Class of Business training.
Skills and Experience:
At least one year of experience as a Broker Consultant.
Proficient product knowledge and awareness of competitor intelligence.
Proficient in English with knowledge of additional African languages preferred.
Experience in the Mass Market and Stop Order industries.
Additional Requirements:
Valid drivers license and own transport.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing and Relationship Management:
Develop and implement marketing plans to outperform competitors.
Promote the client s brand to brokers to influence product sales.
Maintain and grow business relationships with existing brokers.
2. Broker Support:
Identify broker needs and provide necessary support including negotiations and servicing requirements.
Conduct training sessions and presentations on products and services.
3. New Business and Sales:
Prepare quotations check new business applications and arrange premium payment facilities.
Manage missed payments and ensure business quality.
Conduct marketing drives to secure new business.
4. Client Service:
Handle client queries efficiently and ensure service standards are met.
Monitor turnaround times and quality standards to improve client service.
Provide reports on service delivery and maintain client relationships.
5. Administrative and Leadership:
Manage administrative tasks like broker contract applications and aftersales service.
Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders.
Participate in innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification RE 5 or relevant finance qualification Key Competencies 1. Technical Retail Acumen Possess a deep understanding of technical aspects related to retail insurance. 2. Retail Sales Skills Demonstrate effective sales skills, especially in a retail context. 3. Risk Awareness Display keen awareness of risks associated with insurance products. 4. Cross Selling Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities effectively.
