The Corporate Travel Consultant is responsible for assisting clients with their travel requirements including booking flights hotels rail arranging car hire airport parking and advising on travel visas. The role demands fluency in German and excellent customer service capabilities aiming to provide tailored travel solutions while managing existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities - Manage a portfolio of existing clients and accounts.
- Deliver firstclass customer service at all times.
- Provide a variety of quotations to clients ensuring no bias towards a particular airline or supplier.
- Follow up on quotations each morning to ensure all requirements have been met and offer further assistance as needed.
- Analyze canceled quotations to identify potential areas of improvement.
- Process card payments from clients efficiently.
- Collaborate with Business Account Managers to maximize opportunities and refer relevant leads.
- Work closely with Ticketing and Finance departments to ensure hasslefree reservations and ticket issuance.
- Understand key products services and unique selling points to enhance client interactions.
- Balancing a high volume of client requests with varying urgency levels.
- Navigating complex travel logistics and unexpected changes in client travel plans.
Qualifications and Skills - Fluency in German.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in travel booking systems and online itineraries.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of travel regulations and visa requirements.
- Experience in the travel industry (preferred).
